About me
Finding a therapist is hard—it requires time, effort, vulnerability, and some luck. If you happen to find yourself here, my hope is that by sharing a bit about me, you might have a better sense of whether we’ll “click.”
Growing up, I split my childhood between southern California and Idaho. Before realizing I wanted to be a therapist, I earned my BS in Political Science from Boise State University. I spent the next five years doing legal administrative work, including four years in Washington, DC, as an executive assistant at an international law firm. In 2021, I returned to school and received my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Fordham University in 2023.
All through high school and college, I competed in speech and debate, where I often used my platform to advocate for social causes important to me. After graduating, I spent time coaching inmates in debate and advocacy at a correctional center in Idaho. These experiences have shaped my thinking about therapy—I will meet you where you’re at and believe in your capacity to heal.
