Services

I offer sessions via telehealth and in person at the SelfWorks Therapy Group office in Flatiron.

I am an in-network provider with Aetna, Northwell Direct, and Magna Care. For all other insurance plans, I am an out-of-network provider. If you would like to use your out-of-network benefits, the group practice I work for will provide monthly superbills for submission to your insurance provider for reimbursement.

All initial intakes are 60 minutes.

45-minute individual sessions: $300

50-minute couple sessions: $360

I offer sliding scale spots based on financial need and would be happy to talk more about what feels do-able for you.

We will meet weekly or twice weekly and continue to assess your needs as our work progresses.

While those I work with come from a wide range of backgrounds, generally speaking, I often help with the following concerns:

  • PTSD and complex trauma

  • Anxiety

  • “Overthinking”, rumination, and perfectionism

  • Relationship issues

  • Difficulty navigating challenging family dynamics

  • Eating and body image difficulties

I believe therapy is, at its heart, a relationship that heals. I take a trauma-informed, relational, attachment-focused approach, blending cognitive-behavioral strategies with a deep exploration of your experiences. With couples, my approach is rooted in Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based therapy that helps us understand the roots of your repetitive fights and create new, healthier ways of communicating.

While each person and session calls for something a bit different, I am generally attentive, engaged, and curious in sessions. I prioritize collaboration and trust so you can open up at your own pace. Through our work together, you’ll feel a lessening of painful symptoms, cultivate a richer sense of meaning in your life, and feel a deeper connection to yourself and others.

How I work

”The experience of speaking from the heart and being taken seriously builds the psychic architecture that supports the capacity to bear life”

— Nancy Mcwilliams

My approach

  • Psychodynamic

Our early relationships and experiences inform our current ways of being in the world. Together, we’ll work to untangle your past and present and help you truly get to know yourself - all of you, especially parts of you that carry hurt, anger, and shame.

  • Relational

Therapy is, at its core, a relationship. We’ll use our therapeutic relationship as a window into other relationships in your life, and most importantly, the relationship you have with yourself. Those I work with often express that they appreciate I’m not just a “blank slate” and am attuned and engaged.

  • Trauma-informed

We will move at a pace that is appropriate to you, acknowledge how life circumstances and broader systems have impacted you, and over time help you regain a sense of safety and agency. I believe you - even if others have not, and even if you might not yet believe yourself.

I’d love to speak with you and see how I can help.
